The United States Congress created the Veterans History Project (VHP)in 2000 (in which I was a participant for the University of Central Florida in 2016) So without any further a doo, I decided to volunteer and be a part of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, one of the world's most respected research and cultural institutions.VHP's purpose is to collect, preserve, and make accessible the personal accounts of America's wartime veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand their selfless service.My inaugural interview is with State Representative District 28 David Smith Retired Marine COL "Combat Helicopter Pilot" flew numerous missions in Operation Iraqi Freedom I and now his Mission Continues but with a different uniform, as a State Representative of District 28 East Seminole County, FL Legislature, as he continues his passion to SERVE THE COMMUNITY!!!
