The Buffalo Sabres have made their first couple trades before the NHL trade deadline, landing depth defensemen Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn from the Winnipeg Jets. Two enormous defenseman who figure to play on the Sabres third pair going forward. Despite adding defensive depth, neither player projects to help the Sabres much come postseason time.
