Lori Paranjape: Top interior designer walks me through her fantastical mind and explains how she turns her extraordinary visions into people’s homes.

Lori said something to me that I never would have known to think of when it comes to designing a house, and I’ll never forget it. She said “ I’m OBSESSED w the walk from the garage to the kitchen island, bc a woman does that countless times in a day. By the time she gets to the island I want her to be hands free.” Woah. Mind blown. How does one even know how to think that thought? But that’s Lori. Not only is her style and design classic yet bold, traditional yet wild and modern leaving you breathless, she is all about function and comfort first. Throughout the interview she said multiple times “if it’s not comfortable and functional then I’m not doing it.” I LOVE THAT. Lori tells me all about the responsibility of designing top of the line houses and how trust is the most important factor. She also breaks down her life principals and values.
