Love Fest: Primal Scream

Students and staff let off some end-of-semester-steam to wrap up a year-long celebration of Love Library. AUDIO DESCRIPTION: The video begins on the lawn outside Love Library. Joan Barnes, Communications Librarian, describes the scene. Students and library staff play outdoor games such as corn hole, giant Tetris and bolo tossing. Students relax on blankets. They read books, enjoy fruity drinks and eat charcuterie. Archives manager Josh Caster does a cartwheel to the delight of his coworkers. The emcee begins the countdown and the crowd of about 30 demolishes the peaceful spring afternoon with a ferocious roar. Architecture Major Elizabeth Pernicek joins in the scream from the comfort of her blanket spread out on the grass.
