He is author of Neighborhood Initiative and the Love of God and The Incarnational Church (with Lyle Randles). He served as the associate pastor of the Valley Vineyard in Reseda, California, from 1987 until April of 2015. Before that, he pastored a house church and was the college pastor at Grace Community Church in Panorama City, California. He and his wife, Jo, live in Porter Ranch, California and have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.
