Loving Our Community

Have you ever wondered what would happen if our church no longer existed? Would the community around us realize we were gone? Would they mourn the loss of the love that our church poured into them? More than anything we would love to make a genuine difference for Christ in our community (and beyond).Many of us had the opportunity to travel to places this summer that we love. Perhaps it was the culture, architecture, food, natural beauty, escape from routine or rigors that we loved. Yet, God has called each of us to love the community where he has brought us to live in the sense of sacrificing our comfort to see that community reached for Christ. As a local church, we love this community by being a solid foundation for teaching sound biblical doctrine and proclaiming the gospel, and by engaging our neighbors with the love of God and good news of Jesus. We also leverage our resources to plan large scale initiatives to serve our community and proclaim Christ.
