Das Jahr neigt sich dem Ende entgegen. Endlich? Eigentlich spielt das keine große Rolle, denn Zeit ist nur Schall und Rauch, ein fiktionales Hirngespinst was uns ermöglicht pünktlich oder unpünktlich zu sein. Um so besser ist es endlich wieder ordentlich Musik auf die Ohren zu bekommen. Wir können uns kein besseren Gast als Jenny Sharp vorstellen, welche uns in das nächste Jahr reinbassen soll. Mit dem Mix gelangt es ihr wie immer spielend zwischen Garage, Juke, Footwork, HipHop und düsteren Halftime Passagen zu wechseln. Was bleibt uns da noch zu sagen außer: hört rein und wenn ihr zu Silvester feiern wollt (bitte Zuhause im gewohnten Umfeld) dreht den Mix ordentlich auf und fangt an zu bouncen, twerken oder einfach mit zu nicken. Influenced by the musical taste of his older brother, Dude Crush first played in Berlin in 2008. Besides HipHop, House and Techno were part of his repertoire - the influence of his DJ buddies and the Berlin club scene was always present. Since 2011 Dude lives in Dresden. Since 2013 he is a member of the Spur1-Music Crew, a collective of DJs and radio producers who produce a monthly video podcast for electronic music with locals of the Dresden subculture. Since 2014 Dude hosts the show alongside his buddy Eski. Today his musical spectrum ranges from HipHop to breaks, reggae and dubstep as well as drum & bass, halftime, breaks and straight beats. And in this episode of our Infinite Sequence Podcast that's exactly what Dude Crush brings together - some of his personal cross-genre evergreens decorated with dope portion of scratches. DNZ ist ein Urgestein der Dresdner DJ-Szene. Seit Anfang der 90er Jahre aktiv, hat er dabei von Techno bis Funk und von Hip Hop bis Jungle schon alle möglichen Genres erkundet und sich völlig zu Recht einen Ruf als wandelndes Musiklexikon und passionierter Plattensammler erspielt. Zugegebenermaßen haben hier sicher auch 20 Jahre Arbeit im eigenen Plattenladen Fat Fenders einiges Fachwissen hinterlassen. Seinen Sets hört man diesen Hintergrund deutlich an - nie auf einen Stil festgelegt und immer mit unbekannten oder seltenen Perlen garniert, egal ob bei Solo-Gigs oder im Team mit der Funky Monkey Gäng. Mit großer Begeisterung und viel Herz für Musik vorgetragen, hat sich dieser Beat-Tausendsassa in den letzten 30 Jahren eine treue Fanbase erspielt und die elektronische Musiklandschaft Dresdens auch ein Stück weit geprägt. For our next podcast we invited 1NDV. The producer hailing from Nara, Japan presents a selection of his newest, mostly unreleased trax and some of friends' in the japanese electronic music scene. His crisp and crystal-clear sound takes inspiration from classic Chicago-House and Juke and combines it with a playful approach to sampling, incorporating sounds from videogames, bird chirping noises and lots of banging percussions.
