Major job of work to be done - Harkin

The people of Sligo, Leitrim and south Donegal have spoken, and it's clear that there's a major job of work to be done.That's according to Sligo Leitrim Independent TD Marian Harkin, who says it's the incoming Governments responsibility to implement the will of the people.It comes as the 34th Dail sat yesterday but was short lived as they're now on a break until January 22 when it's hoped a new Government will be in place.That look sets to be Fianna Fail, Fine Gael with the support of some Independents.Speaking in the Dail, Deputy Harkin described the time ahead as a noble challenge:
