Making connections: Richard Hogan on how to help lonely children build friendships

Family psychotherapist and author Dr Richard Hogan joins ieParenting editor Irene Feighan to discuss the increasing levels of loneliness among teens and how parents can best support their child if they feel they are lonely. After repeated lockdowns, there is what has been dubbed an epidemic of loneliness among young people and according to Hogan, teens are more disconnected than ever. He talks about the importance of connection at all ages, but especially teen years and offers advice for parents who want to help their child to connect with peers and feel less lonely.  Hosted on Acast.
