Making That Someday Dream Come True (And Then Some) with John Gonzales

from Meet Me In Moncton · host Natalie Davison

Ever meet someone and wonder how they do it all? They seem to have success at every turn? Oh.. and everyone just loves them? Well, if you’ve ever met this week’s guest, you have. A physiotherapist, owner of Rehab 1 clinics all over New Brunswick, he’s also one of the founders of O’Creek - Moncton’s newest brewery, and the business manager for the Greater Moncton Area’s Filipino Association. I had the pleasure of meeting him a decade ago when he was one of the owners of Maritime CrossFit… Yes, I’m talking about the one and only, John Gonzales. We talk about John’s work, his community involvement and his love of family just for starters. Rehab 1 and then some… John talks about the rapid growth of his business and how we started with the dream of only one clinic. Well, he’ll soon have 7 clinics and he attributes this path to a single moment at a local event: Master Mindset. Listen in to hear about the moment that speaker Mark Black asked a question that would change John’s whole future. Generations of Community Builders You’ll be inspired to hear the story of how the Filipino community in New Brunswick was built by a few families who had the courage to build a new life in a new country for their families while ensuring that their children (kids like John) stayed close to their culture. John talks about how important it is to him to be part of Moncton’s Filipino association. Local Shout-Out I asked John for a local purchase that’s recent;y changed his life and he shouted out his acupuncturist Madison Clarke at EastND and also local gift maker Ethiimo Builds.
