He grew up on Sycamore street playing tennis on the courts across from the Manteca library that are still there today.  Golden West then to MHS he was a Youth League Coach, Umpire, many youth athletic positions in those days, He would take that tennis skill to the tops of High School Tennis and also a standout Football and Baseball player Then to school, the Police Officer Reserves and home to protect his community from the mid 80's to mid 90's as a Manteca Police Officer.. Narcotics Division Big Time Rock and roll kinds narc if you will...Then he started a health club and would eventually sale and that became his jump-off.. Along with more than a decade of coaching through the nineties and 2000s.. He loves to coach football and is doing so now with the Bay Area Panthers a Pro football team in the Bay Area that he has financial interests in with the Beast Mode Marshawn Lynch the league will start in Early 2022. Until then, he is a grandpa and loves his hometown Manteca as I do and that's why Jon Shaefer is up on the Manteca Podcast
