Crimes against women, be it domestic abuse or violence, or public harassment has been very common for a long time now. You cannot go a day without finding atleast one news article about violence or other kinds of injustice towards women. In this episode of Maname Nalam, RJ Zeenath talks about why, and how we have created such a situation where girls find it extremely uncomfortable to go outside past sunset, and feel the need to use the longer path to avoid a bunch of men on their ways to their destination. She talks about how this can be avoided by beginning with our own homes and teaching the men in our homes to have strong mentalities and a proper sense of justice.
