Hebben mannen het zwaarder dan vrouwen? That’s the million dollar question, als je de resultaten van de EenVandaag opiniepeiling vraagt. Die verschenen enkele weken geleden en daaruit bleek dat er mannen zijn die vinden dat hun positie in de samenleving erger is en dat ze het zwaarder hebben dan vrouwen. Je kan als witte cisgender, heteroseksuele man niks meer goed doen. Vinden zij. Nu zul je waarschijnlijk met je ogen rollen, en fair enough: dat deden wij ook. Maar toch moeten we hier iets mee. In deze aflevering hebben we het over de resultaten van dat onderzoek, wat dat betekent voor ons allemaal en wat we er nou mee moeten. Dit doen we niet alleen. Nee, we hebben de fantastische en stralende Devika Partiman (@devikagauri) te gast. Met z’n drieën hebben we het over de rol van mannen in feminisme, dat feminisme goed is voor mannen maar dat we mannen soms ook gewoon niet nodig hebben in het feminisme, want ze hobbelen er vanzelf wel achteraan. ‘T is een gezellige maar leerzame aflevering.
