Mark McCabe

from Phone Truths with Carl Mullan

Well here we are, the final episode of the season! Thank you guys SO much for listening across this season and for all of the support for the podcast. It means the world. For the final episode, let me get this bit out of the way first - my guest, Mark McCabe (yes of Maniac 2000 fame) accidentally became one of my best mates. In fact, I didn't know he was THE Mark McCabe for the first year and a half of us knowing each other (I explain this better in the episode 😂). With Maniac 2000 turning 25 years old this year, I thought Mark was the perfect person to kick off 2025 with, and finish our first season of Phone Truths with. We obviously talk about Maniac 2000 and how it accidentally became part of the Irish psyche. But I think for a lot of you who don't know Mark, this episode is such a great insight into the man who is COMPLETELY different to the Mark McCabe you might see perform on stage. He's a soft spoken, funny and kind guy....oh and he's also one of the biggest nerds you could ever meet, especially when it comes to phones! I hope you really enjoy this episode of Phone Truths with Mark McCabe. Brought to you by Sky Mobile. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
