Massive crowds attend public meeting on future of Donegal Education Centre

Large crowds attended last night’s Public Meeting concerning the future of the Donegal Education Centre.  Plans are afoot to move the centre to Letterkenny. Those who attended the meeting in the Abbey Hotel voiced strong opposition to any such moves. Local Oireachtais members will now meet with the Minister for Education, Helene McEntee to discuss the issued next week Cathaoirleach of the Donegal MD and Sinn Fein Cllr Noel Jordan says those in attendance were there to support the staff at the facility and to send a clear message that they want the facility retained in Donegal Town.
