There are two primary narratives in our world. The first, says that there is no true and loving God, and thus scarcity, and each one needs to hoard and watch out first for themselves. The second says that God is real, He loves, and will provide for your needs so that you don’t need to worry. He has proven which narrative to believe by sending His Son to provide for us just as the prophets foretold. And because He is good, gracious, and generous, we too can trust God to provide, and be good, gracious and generous as we live within a community of faith and a community generally. Which narrative is guiding your life? Let’s consider God’s provision and care.
