May 24 Daily Reading- Read the Bible in 1 Year

Today's reading includes Isaiah Chapters 1-2. Today we will read about prophecy from Isaiah telling us about the forgiveness of sins washing us as white as snow, the time of God's great judgment on the Earth when He will bring down the people who are proud, and about the 1,000 years of peace when Jesus will rule from Jerusalem and God himself will be teaching people how to do right. We will also read about God being fed up with people hurting each other and admonishing us to do what is right. Isaiah tells us that following God is like walking in light. God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths. Let's spread the Word about Reading God's Word! We will be encouraged that when we follow God and do what is right He will reward us by eating the best food of the land. We will remember King Uzziah, who tried to make God happy, and so God brought good things to him. Let us all be encouraged to be doing good and working hard to do what is right when Jesus returns.
