No, but really, what do you do as an intelligence analyst? What you’ve seen in the movies or on TV doesn’t quite tell the real story. And storytelling is exactly what Meaghan does best. Starting her career in a training program with the federal government right out of college, she learned how to approach intelligence gathering so that she can sift through all the noise and conflicting information to craft a story that is unbiased and factual when answering questions that drive security, business, and other important decisions.

From public sector roles at the CIA and NYPD to a private company like Google, these fundamental skills stay the same, but a lot else has changed. Hear from Meaghan about how she approaches her craft, how intelligence gathering and its delivery have evolved with technology over the years, the rise of generative AI and how it can help analysts sort and summarize information, but why she believes there will always be value in human experts ultimately driving analysis and crafting the right stories with the data. Plus, we discuss new skills she and her team are developing to find creative solutions to problems, like graphic design, data analysis, public speaking, video & podcast production.
