Today's topic is Medical Gaslighting, Jess explains in more depth what Gaslighting is, we talk about this today! We also talk about what would make for a better positive experience to a clinic or hospital Jess & Omer mention a great suggestion when having to fill in a patient form that it would be better to get sent it before the appointment which would make it a lot easier as a form has a quite lot to fill in such a limited amount of time! and Jess mentions in Belgium especially with Covid that there wasn't enough chairs available to sit on to accommodate a chronic illness. We talk about what would be much better to accommodate us and without a support person we may achieve that! Jess & Omer read out to articles that show massive Gaslighting issues which are very relatable. Jess's article suggests about a Doctor Mike talking about a lot of Gaslighting issues, with Omer's article about a patient recording a medical professional posting it on Tiktok while the Doctor/Nurse is researching a illness that the patient has while the patient is in the wrong. We say that any medical professional should be honest  Omer adds his wisdom on the matter, but we all agree and some that the Doctor used YouTube a to some can come across as a entertainment platform didn't really help the cause.  Lots of opinions in Today's episode!
