Summary

Today we witness the proclamation of John the Baptist regarding Jesus. We will hear John speak of the mystery of Christ and testify to Christ's sonship. It is another beautiful passage of this gospel. Notice the repeated phrase, "I myself did not know him," and ponder the mystery of God held in those few words. In this Lectio Divina meditation, we will approach that mystery and seek to be present to it as it speaks to us.
