Meet Houston Missions: Keturah's Haven

In this episode of Meet Houston Missions and The Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., Local Missions Podcast, Ruhamah Rylander, the Founder and Executive Director of Keturah’s Haven, and her husband and cofounder David, tell our attorney Paul Cannon about their Nonprofit, which focuses on providing housing for homeless pregnant women. Keturah’s Haven provides a safe place to live for homeless young women who have come from difficult backgrounds and upbringings to give them an opportunity to have their babies in a safe environment and then recover and get back on their feet. They are largely a second chance facility for people caught up in the world of drugs, prostitution, human trafficking, and abusive relationships. Residents are given the opportunity to learn life and work skills so that when they leave, they do not have to return to their former lives. Volunteers with the ability to teach various practical skills are needed.  To learn more about these opportunities, please sign up for their newsletter via the website: https://keturahshaven.org.Fundraising OpportunitiesEvery February, Keturah’s Haven holds its annual Fundraiser Gala, Auction, and Dinner.
