Written & Performed by Vikram Sodhi & Jacques Jones Produced by Luis “Eli Efi” da Silva, Ryan Windross, John Ozokolie and Tyriq Henry-Jones This EP reflects a digital music exchange between two youth centers in New York (The Door) and London (Bollo Brook Youth Centre) representing the best young emcees, vocalists, producers and engineers from two of the world’s epicenters. The collaborative process of creating music prompted discussions about the differences and similarities in educational systems, employment, race and racism, sexuality and sexual identity, and political issues around the world. This cross-cultural exchange has been instrumental in helping to push our young people to think in bigger and broader ways, to recognize the power of music and art as tools for social change, and to embrace their roles as global citizens.
