Men Apparently Can’t Win on Mother’s Day

Listen back to Afternoons with Reed and Eddie from May 8th. Reed is starting to believe men never really stand a chance on Mother’s Day after the guys react to a viral video telling moms to basically lower expectations before the day even begins. Eddie isn’t sure he buys that logic, but both agree Father’s Day never seems to get the same energy. Plus, Eddie’s very first DoorDash order immediately goes sideways after accidentally double ordering Chinese food and burning through a $50 gift card plus another $40, Reed talks about his emotional attachment to his socks while the guys discuss "weird habits men don’t realize they have", and Reed’s body apparently now shuts down after sitting on the floor building LEGOs. They also get into bigger Chipotle portions, off-brand Girl Scout cookies, aliens potentially abducting Eddie earlier this week, and a Top 5 web browser game that leaves Reed just a little angry by the end.
