Bruce coached Sherrod and put him on the path to his master's in chemical dependence counseling and life coaching certification. Sherrod has worked at John Peter Smith Hospital as a mental health technician. He details his experiences there and how it helped prepare him to interact with clients of all backgrounds. Bruce talks about the advantages of coaching because Sherrod. Coaching sessions can occur anywhere/anytime for the clients. Another layer of Sherrod's expertise is his ability to work with the parents. His approach allows both to grow, which leads to more mended relationships. Sherrod has also created his curriculum, focusing on the client's spiritual, mental, and physical aspects. Later in the program, the three men discuss how many people want the rewards of success but do not put in the work.
