Mentioned In Dispatches – Season 7 Ep 13 – The Annual Bison Migration

10 December 2021 ~ Our good buddy Bison migrates back through with an extended chat about wargaming miniatures.  We talk about the arts-&-crafts aspects of the hobby, how to find minis, challenges of rulesets, scaling & basing, and collaborating with your potential opponents.  There’s a bit of a discussion about paints, as well as where and how to find your minis.  Both BC and Bison have threads in our forums for their various forays into painting. Don’t forget, you can always catch up with past episodes on the “podcast” tab of our site. Yes, we also talk about Michael looking like Rick Moranis from Honey, I Shrunk The Kids as well as the motivations of minis wargamers compared to other gamers.  We poke Cyrano a bit, with a 12mm stick, and we talk about some good shops where people can find their minis.  And of course, while talking about conventions, Bison’s got a couple of “can you believe what dick that guy was?” kind of stories, too.
