Michele & Curtis Talk with Abe from Mainland Tank Service

This weeks episode starts off with a Fun Fact! Michele goes over the great app by Realtor.ca where you can log-in and connect your Realtor with your account so that you can notify them of all the interesting properties and have them take over from there. The information provided by the app has gotten better as well by including lot size as well as demographics for the area. Michele and Curtis are joined by Abe Friesen of Mainland Tank Service, a Septic Tank Cleaning company that services anywhere from Abbotsford to Lions Bay with their growing fleet of three trucks. With over 16 years of experience, Abe has a lot of wisdom to share with septic tank owners. The first reminder is to not wait too long before pumping out your septic tank. This can easily turn into big problems when things start to overflow. When this starts to happen things quickly become a frantic situation plus there is the possibility of damage to the house with the overflow.Abe also shares with us the three big 'don'ts' of Septic systems - Bleach, Wipes and Grease. And remember, you can't always trust what you read! In the end we're reminded to 'Keep it Natural, and Keep it Simple!'
