There's renewed hope that a Sligo woman and three others may not be deported from Berlin. Roberta Murray is one of four people who had been ordered to leave Germany for taking part in pro-Palestine protests. This is despite not having been convicted of a crime.  The situation has caused huge controversy both locally and internationally. Independent Ireland MEP Ciaran Mullooly wrote to the German Ambassador, asking them to consider the matter. Speaking to Ocean FM news, The Midlands North West MEP says he would be surprised if the deportation came to pass:
