Migration Waterfowl

On this episode of Michigan Wild, Nate interviews Brian Halbleib from the Migration Waterfowl podcast. Brian is a passionate hunter that has been chasing bucks and ducks for years. He has found a love for duck hunting with his kayak and overall looks forward to all his adventures hunting waterfowl every fall. The guys discuss topics such as hosting a podcast, hunting in Pennsylvania and Ohio, scouting for geese and ducks, the equipment needed for waterfowl hunting, and the importance of calling. Brian also shares his upcoming hunting plans and offers recommendations for some of his favorite YouTube channels on waterfowl hunting. They also talk about the importance of finding your own style and being selective with the gear you choose. Nate and Brian do a dive into their preferences for shotguns and ammunition, along with a discussion of the ethics of hunting and the importance of taking ethical shots. Overall, the conversation is filled with enthusiasm and passion for waterfowl hunting. This episode was a nice change of pace for Nate and Michigan Wild, and he is looking forward to targeting some waterfowl in the upcoming weeks.
