Longest third leg on the Cowboys. Longest third leg in the world. First hit. In the line.

How many of you ladies in hotel? CTE. CTE. I play recall.

You hot? Not hot. Not hot. Not hot.

I mean, I'm- Put your heart ready to go. Sexy. I'm glad you said it. You know?

You know what I mean? You can say it as a man. It's okay. You show your manhood that you can look at another man.

Of course. Of course. Yeah. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry. Well, it's not true. Good sir. Come for me.

There you go. Let me talk about it. You know what I'm saying? Thank you.

This is my best friend. Etise? Etise the featured. Etise?

E prostate. No. E prostate. Well, actually I wasY, I mean I didn't know that okay.

You look like a man, you're a man, you're a man. Yeah. So each is his number one? Yeah, each is my boy.

That's why I hear people saying, you kind of look like each is so I gotta put them up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. Yeah, yeah.

How does white do? Oh, yeah. Who's this? How does white do?

Sexiest white do. In this room. Rad Pitt is a sexy motherfucker. Yeah.

Sexy white man. He's a sexy white man. Over Brady? Over Tom Brady?

Yeah. No. What do you say? Yeah, yeah.

You're not impressed by Tom Brady. No, no, no, no. Tom, Tom, Tom, I always say this. I mentioned me in distance travel.

Right. So in distance travel, I'll give it to Tom. Okay. Because when I saw Tom, that first picture coming out and it come by, nothing like a man.

That's what I should get. That's what I should get. That's what I should get. Right.

Right. Right. Right. Right.

If somebody had taken you and put a picture at Tom. Yeah. And any other quarterbacks up there. Yeah.

That first picture and say, go get your family. What do you do? I never make it in the NFL. Yeah.

Everybody put every guy on Tom. Yeah. So just in travel. So he is sexy and he, I don't know how he got to look at it.

He looks for where he was. But you think he got some lip fillers or something like that? You think he's he got the Brazilian butt lift? I think he got a lot of pocket fillers with those super bowl.

Yeah. Yeah. And for some reason, for some reason, money always makes you sexy. You always make you look that way.

Go back. You weren't always this one with any mercilose. Go back to the early day. Oh, and he looked good still.

And it's good now. Yeah. Yeah. He was like 17.

That was a boy. Yeah. Damn it is sexy. Yeah.

He was broke. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. That was got to Eddie was a sexy. He was a sexy.

I love Eddie man. That's what funny. Yeah. 100%.

Have you met Eddie before? I don't think I've ever met him. Really? I don't think I've ever met him.

But I would love him. Do you guys doing a movie with him right now? Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. He's not as such a little you. He's not as such a little you. He's not as such a little you.

He's not as such a little you. And he's in his own world man. He's been famous since he's 18 years old. Yeah.

He's always been the most famous guy since he's 18. So it's people get uncomfortable around him. You know what I'm saying? Right.

Right. Because he's 80. Yeah. We could have been uncomfortable around you.

But you came in with so much energy and positivity. I want to kill you. I want to kill you. Talk about sexy guys.

Yeah. I want to kill you. I want to kill you. I want to kill you.

I want to kill you. I want to kill it to make the real way. I got a pretty big voice. I never heard anybody say.

He doesn't want to fuck up. Yeah. You're absolutely good. Don't worry about it.

We got it. Okay. We were talking about hot guys and putting it in your mouth. What happened?

What happened in this podcast? We usually talking about girls in sports and stuff like that. You changed the game. I didn't say we didn't have a natural conversation.

I don't know how we got to it. You were doing really shit. I don't know. You were saying I look good.

I was saying I look good. You were saying you look good. You were saying you look good. You were saying you look.

You were saying you look good. I got to get it out. He came in like people say I look like Idris. I don't know what's going on.

He said I'm a sexy model. It's all good. Michael, you know you got a family member. He said that was cowboy born.

He's a cowboy. Can I tell you you are my favorite athlete of all time? Hey, hey. Not just cowboy athlete.

I appreciate you saying that. I really do appreciate you saying that. I'm sorry. We look like we look yesterday.

Don't God. I don't care. You got me. I'm saying next to you.

I appreciate that. I'm talking about that right now. We had one one in 30 years. When I was, you know, it's a man.

Okay. Since we all fam. I'm like a shit. It's young, man.

I was winning them Super Bowl. I was young. I came from DeGhetto in Florida. I'm the 15th of 17th.

I never had nothing. I never had nothing. So I win a Super Bowl. I win a Super Bowl.

So what I took a little friend of mine and we went to a whole care room and had some fun. We had to make that a big deal. So what? They took me to all of that.

I'm like we ain't want a Super Bowl 30. I bet you all leave me in that hotel room now. You know what? I just want to do mine.

Come on out and give us a damn Super Bowl. We ain't have one in 30 years. Let's go. Let's go.

Let's go. You can't do this. You can't do this. You can't do this.

Listen, we understand. You can't do this. We ain't want a whole time. I got no two-person.

I'll bet you. He's a man. Give the man what he needs. I'll just joke it on the night.

I'm a little bit. I'm the first one. I'm not high. He's coming out of the room.

It's way. But he is the end of the day. It's a Matthew Mark Luke and John. That's the gospel.

That's the gospel. What you going to do? Everybody will do it. When you go to your cities, you're going to travel all these cities to be gay.

Yeah. Dude. But everybody in the L.T. is where the city is.

Yes. You know, Tindo and Ralph. She's a high-spinner. I'm like, Tindo and Paula.

City down. He's spending the money. And it's been, you know, we've had some times in Dallas. And I was like, hey, man, you should have left me alone.

I would have had nobody in that hotel room. It's never been alone. How many of you are ladies in the hotel room? CTE.

I can't recall. CTE. This is where you can use something for your headband. This is what you do.

Right down. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. All right. Yeah.

No, no. No, you're not tell. No. No, no, no.

No, no. He had his own house. It was his own house. It started out as the hotel.

But they got expensive. I appreciate like it was like it was all the time thing when I say he got expensive. Wanna be up to buy a house that's it. Yeah, please, I got expensive.

I got expensive. Well, I did with all the time. But it was 100%. Yes.

Yeah, best way to explain if I'm 100% when you got me focused on one thing I go hard at it I need a hotel because what happened? Yeah, yeah, I would just stay in one room. Oh Right, right, right, right. I would have one on one two or three on one right by the other Right Can I tell you Come back You are not lying not one lies been told that's true Crazy there was so many hotelers they got expensive y'all bought a house Right When they caught me the district attorney head all my hotel records, right?

We were I was hanging out over at this apartment We had this thing went private so went from a hotel apartment and then the house Back right now, but we had to get out of the partners because we're making too much noise to many people complaining Yeah, I was in the apartment And let me tell you the system I went through and when I figured out so I would always Work hard and we always started training in March right first second weekend in March. I worked in March You know so we go to Super Bowl February from February after Super Bowl until the second weekend I'm watching I had about a good month of good month going crazy non-stop They said go get away You know the number How many why don't you Yeah And Leon let yes We are in place the only I probably was in there for about you know Thirty hours You're going on the wrong 30 hours. I got my tini with me and Leon let came in I Came in with a dude would do what to do with it from his hometown, Alabama. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah I'm bringing over here like that man. I thought about it Don't worry about because I look around and so the double digits numbers and I look at him and he was like I Out yeah His sweet oh he was over at Trump's house big sweet man and we took We're getting my level we're getting my level we're going back to his sweet. Yeah, Tio was sitting there I Take my little Heart yeah, so ferocious man, but I just love to do Maybe one of the trainers or something was saying that he would sleep with girls before the fight to take the edge off So he wouldn't kill the person that he was about to play like he was trying to weaken them But the fight is a different though.

Yeah, you know I don't you all the great friend of mine He's kind of told me some of his pre-fight stuff man. I'm fighting boy. Hey, that's why I respect the hell out of I respect the hell out of me. I'm talking about boy.

Yeah, whatever y'all gotta do. Yeah, you don't ask in there Do you know you would you like you would you know you I read some stories the Eugene Lockhart story You're standing up to a guy that's bullying a team And I did buy house over there. It was great. It was great.

It was great. I own the house my daughter has a house now I got clean homes everywhere, but it's just different when you got 16 brothers and sisters I got four five summer homes in Florida. I just got some of them me grows and all of them every time I buy a home Hey, come over and visit. I said, it's my summer home.

I say, okay, maybe time to go now It's true start messing around with my brothers and sister them The water this is leaking and I said well tell them to fix it, you know, they're going to office to get money If you don't live in the house, they don't do anything. So yeah, family is a whole another one. You ever wish you had half that many children? You ever wish you were the eighth and nine?

I wish I was only I have to look at it on the other side. I said, you know what God gave me a football team to live with So I didn't need a football team and everywhere I sit and eat feet in the sand I have left a footprint of greatness because I am an S brother what I mean by S brother Would you say did you wear a champion? No, I want championships. I want championships.

Oh, oh That's what I call you My family That's just weird, but like I got house over by lockers and lockers my boy now But see like Yeah, man. What are we doing? That is why I live right in the street. I would marry at time.

I would marry. I see me. You got part of my man. But look, it's no go.

Shit. Some crown royal and vodka on the door still. I'm gonna just come to where it's going. He will always look young.

Now, now he may try to scoop ballet wrong. We think he gets off course. The crown. We were boys.

We were boys. But that time, this was at his restaurant when we got into it. Really? The restaurant.

That's valid. And he was just like, man, let's stop, man. You were bullying a team employee, right? Yeah.

Yeah. And I'm not being on that. I'm just not being on that. I'm not being on taking advantage of small people or somebody that I just went being on.

I said, yeah, stop that. That's not okay with that. And you know, yeah. Yeah.

So yeah, I had to just situate it a little bit. Just stop. We stopped. We were all cool.

And we were able to get back to it. And we really got into a little fight at the Cowboys Cafe. Now, now I was my brother when I was where I was playing. My brother goes over there.

We were playing food. We used to hang out. We don't have to come back from games at the cafe. We don't have to come back.

But I would come back. And my brother was over there. He got into a fight with somebody right at the Cowboys Cafe. I come back and fight so where everybody's going.

Coming in later. I go home. Somebody think, I said, what's this? You being soon?

That's why you're showing me for what? I thought, would you do you love it? I'm suing me for what I'm like cafe. Yeah.

Jokey. I'm like, now look there to it. It was that dude. He was suing me because he was in a fight with my brother.

I said, I didn't have to. I'm playing football somewhere in another city. What did I want to do? So yeah, that brought that back up.

So that was crazy. That was crazy. Have you ever been intimidated by someone that you played with? You don't seem like someone that scares you.

So I don't. Yeah. And I don't. Yeah.

And somebody asked me that who what we laid in the year late later in my career, he signed a lonesome spell. I remember him. Yeah. Yeah.

By poet. And this one also has some issues. We didn't know that yet. And we watch some house issues and they played out on TV and God bless them and everything.

But we brought them in the locker room and I saw him. You know, I'm like, six, eight, man. I mean, muscles everywhere. I mean, and dude, who I was like, boy, that's the only dude I have a look at it.

Come on. You know, because you don't know that man. That's the only dude I have to say. I was truly intimidated with.

I walked around real carefully. Right? Because I know those people look like men and he was just he was stacked. He was just probably him.

But generally speaking, like when you're playing against any other team, were there any players that maybe you weren't intimidated by, but like you really respected and you didn't, you know, push them in a circle. And here is this man world that we are afraid of. Oh, was it somebody that made you the best way we can stay to the man you check your courage? Yes, absolutely.

Somebody made you and I always tell people when I'm explaining, they say, well, Michael, you were fearless. Stop saying that. Yeah. Are you joking?

I'm a fearless. I mean, courage does not say fear did not exist. Courage said that fear exists, that you had a billy overcomer and go forward, which is a great attribute to have. But fear is real.

We're playing. I just mean, we're playing. We're playing. We're playing.

Like running a lot. Like running a lot. And people think, you know, you go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, like this, right there. Cut his own damn finger off.

He get back in the game here. Somebody can hear. And you can't go back in. Where you finger or hang it off.

Where'd we go? Man, we 'll cut it off. You know what I'm saying? Crazy, crazy, of course.

Not I'm scared. oh my god. I'll help people because maybe their standing here does exist. How do you overcome that fear?

You got to put that great fear up against the greater fear. So every time Toyca scoring 62 that means don't slam I'm running a slant route and you break the whole everybody say watch Michael I know you're running around right. They know you're running, but I would line up And soon as I got in stands little Michael sorry talk to the big Michael good big Michael scared a little Michael I go you gotta run this man. I said no Big Michael if we don't run this with me out the right to the ghetto But I ain't never going back to I I heard you say that you can't go back to the ghetto How do you stay hungry after you made tens of millions of dollars?

You got two super bowls? Mmm, because these are worth these time climb on three. I'm saying by the third time by 95 You went back to back then you lost one year and now it's how do you stay that hungry when it's I'm the man? I always say this you see Jerry Joe Bill games Jeff baby I leave my house Wednesday to go to the Thursday night game I lean Thursday game go on with it.

I like to do show Saturday Sunday I leave LA Sunday fly out here to do show money to die I go back home on Tuesday night and start all back over on Wednesday evening and they said why are you working? So I said because there's no bitches anymore you gotta do something I don't mind because The richest people in the world are still working They're still working what the hell are you talking about stop working first of all? It's not just about the money it's about some help no help I gotta keep I gotta get up and go try to be the best at something every day Just a part of it if you don't do that. Oh, so you transferred the passion that had a sports You stop now Did you know this or did you learn this after having some tough times when you left the game well when you first left the game?

Yeah, right when you first leave the game you realize how lost you are because all your life playing football everything Non-stop It's not just freedom. It's not just freedom you rich with freedom she is free when I was broke I I This time I kept falling back and falling back and then that's when I realized today to start studying my own stuff All I was doing was switching the diction. Yes, I didn't have anything to put my energy in I couldn't come out of what I was in Yeah, that was a tough thing. Yeah, I Always have Into it man, so once I learned that you know, it's still what I need and what you ship the addiction to work You're like I gotta go right right right.

That's why I work the way I work Yeah, so maybe maybe life is addiction. You just got to find the way. Let me put this way maybe success is addiction You just have to make sure you put that focus and passion into positive things instead of That when you say success happiness out is the word I would put it must be your addiction When You have to make me happy Football great and I love football another but when I see one of the other granddaughters right now I say them Yeah, I will be taking care of you. Yeah, probably be dating gold.

That's not the issue It's it's it's it's how you get to live the lifestyle.

That's the issue money is You got to know how to spend your money simple things simple things and I talked to young man about this all time because you got imagine okay Here's a young man. He could run up like I grew up with nothing with nothing. Yeah, and then it's not just he grew up with nothing What did he see he sold everybody that had anything around him get it taken repossessed houses cars because they couldn't keep up with payments It's always like so now he just did I'll do simple numbers. He just got five million dollar signing bonus Million dollar signing bonus and this dude wants to say man Five million dollars here is where where he could use what he used to get the way is I call sometimes your greatest asset You know great is liability right he used the poor this around him the poor and The poverty around him asked you to make him a great athlete to make it But now now now you use your yesterday to set your tomorrow But now your yesterday is hurting your tomorrow because when he gets the five million dollar planning bonus He said I want to get my house.

I want eating the car. So he spends about two three million dollar house So he spent a half million dollars on car. He's three and a half million dollars Yeah, and he said I'm buying mine flat out so nobody who come to our ticket for me Like I saw you're taking it from everybody else around me stupid thing in the world Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you get a five million dollar you said it over there you go I said I live the bar three out of it three and a half million dollars I guess my five million dollar and now I'm about all that stuff I want when I'm gonna leave that five million dollars sitting on Principal and then I'm gonna make the interest off that five million dollar pig back alone and three half million And I never touch my principal so you cannot let the pain of yesterday mess with your tomorrow another thing we do it Oh You put all your family members in Anytime I give money out to anybody in my family they get the pay the tax on the money at their bracket So when I we pass out where is that we give to our families all the time? We're paying at our Trust These things so we mean how did you learn how do you pick these up like well my my my degree is in business first of all Business management organization if I did you had to graduate early to leave and go to school So I graduated after my junior year of eligibility and went to the draft That's how I controlled my draft like like we're green Bay called with a seven pick green there Michael we're going draft to receive it right here and we're thinking about you Really I was only going to play in Dallas LA or New York I was willing to give up some hands on the front end because I know I make it back up on Some more than I thought this whole time because you were a cowboy fan y'all We work out with a while because you've got what they but I knew I was going to go to Dallas and then Jimmy Jimmy came to me Jimmy Johnson said Michael he said I understand what you're doing.

I appreciate he says but Dallas It's going to draft you he said none of them damn shenanigans with that's how I'm going for Dallas I said what would you think I would do is I'm just telling you some telling you right now because I got all your buddy friend of mine about the Dallas Cowboys by the Dallas Cowboys and that crazy I'll be joining you next year. Oh, you know what's gonna happen? I do it was coming out You know if and Jerry bought the team the next year and brought in Jimmy Wow, you've been playing for Jimmy Yeah, the Maya to you. Yeah, yeah Couple weeks ago when they gave him a super bowl at Hall of Fame, right Jimmy.

Yeah, yeah Yeah, I was Steve. Yeah, my god, man. Hey, let's oh I was right him back to him. He was right there addressing the crowd.

I had just seen Jimmy at the Hall of Fame You know, he's got a heart. He was happy and I see it happened and when I saw him I never see him just happy in my life And I just started crying and crying and crying I'll get him on stock about now because I said that look that I'm in like damn look at all of this and the people weren't crazy And I thought about the whole journey and all that we've done together And I was like man all of this could have been gone if he wasn't a great man that he is But I got in the shit on my first day in college. I heard about this I'm swinging and women people as my sister And they were playing with freshman on the table on the table First was Never see a steak like that we had it. My mom she would take whatever they had around the house and whoever What she was clean who she would clean with whatever food they give her and she would put it all in a potty call it a castle We don't even know what it was but now I had a train to take all his food and they were making a freshman's weight I think man, hey, man.

Hey, come here. I gotta make some money now So it's so so big lining kept trying to make me wait and I did I did it the first couple times and then and then he tried to go In order the same damn steak. I want it man. I cracked his head with that Wow, they took me They took me Jimmy's office and I walked in Like Teamings yeah, we can't do it.

I'm thinking he's about to send me home and I just got up out of there But he did he said you're young man. I'm not going to I'm not going to this menu He said I'm going to I'm going to take it up with my senior because he should have known better not to let it get in that So I was just thinking about all the time that I had screwed up that first year that was the only fight I got another fight. Are we gonna have in the weight room? Yeah, he pushes me because we changed the music freshmen was supposed to lift it Then they come in early and they change me like hey man, it's the other freshman out we got 10 more minutes That's it for the present I said we got eight more minutes you just kill two of them, but we're gonna take out a minute I switch it back and any pushes me.

Okay, okay, and they get me tweeter coast comes right down calls us upstairs A problem you got team me I was up there on steam. I'm on steam. I was a Hey Jimmy say I want both Michael I want you and it's come down in the murders right now and shake hands And I was still on steam though Now I got close to him Oh Thinking about when he was getting Super ball that we live the life man and I said oh my god all of it I could have missed it all if he'd have just sent my rude ass back home none of it would have happened And I just could stop crying because they can't just believe it in me. So I got through that rough time So obviously he sees great talent in you.

That's why you're yeah, he would say if you're good you get away with more right? Jimmy, well, Jimmy say yeah, I only don't don't don't don't don't don't talk about fear fear says everybody gets the same thing Jesse is everybody just says everybody gets what they deserve if your ass is out here and you're not making a whole lot of plays And I got you kind of problem by you don't out here, but if you make plays out the play we run into a little Way to work for you guys I'm gonna quickly interrupt this incredible interview with the legend the playmaker Michael ever cuz I gotta tell you about the infamous tour We're coming to Florida. Okay, not this weekend, but next weekend. We're in it.

I cost what you got this weekend on be at zany's in Nashville cop your tickets hurry the fuck up December 9th 11th DC. I'm gonna be at the comedy loft come through January 7th and January 8th I'm gonna be in Dallas at hyenas come by tickets and also You know Michael Urban tweet him hit my IG to tell him to come through also and you know what? Let's just get back to that interview.

My question is like he sees a talent But there's also something that he sees in you and that's like how to coach you and how to bring out the best of you So do you think early on he understood you can't really tell Michael what to do right? You start realizing oh my god Freshman when I came to my freshman year We just lost two of top receivers and college football in around its name Shakespeare and I was just a freshman I'm sitting there watching film watching film and dude Jimmy walks by that psychology part That day he wants by and he sees me enough studying this after we don't wake you all the fights and everything He sees me in a studying studying studying studying and he said hey, hey, that's what's up coach You read baby everybody's wondering what are we going to do now the Eddie Brown is Receiver he says oh wait that showed a mike word Oh, no, I put on a 50 pound weight that's gonna run save the flights to stay as all day It's all I was thinking about while I'm a showable. I'm sure but that he knew he knew that just little things like that You'll push you, you know what I mean and make the brain the best out of you He was great at it because there's certain coaches that might see you and they might coach you a different way And then you guys just had an emossele fight right but you wanted to walk through a wall Right and with Jimmy and he did with Charles. Hey, yeah, we'll charge a same thing Charles Hey, talk about time he said when he went when he got there that we got a child Hey, look from Sam Fran because you know, okay, Charles had supposed to be you know student on top of the head coaches car Just took out the third leg he has and just watered it down Yeah This is not becoming a little bit of shit old story So so Chuck came over to the and then Jimmy knew how to do it right Jimmy went at Chuck one time Yeah, they went at him and so she went in a tank he went in the tank and coach Hey come to my office and he talked to him about it and coach and Jimmy and Charles say coach, you know I just you know, I just it just boughs me when he was like that.

He called it coach. No problem. Okay. I think that's how you work That's what I work with he says I can work with that he's I'll pull your side if you need me I don't mind.

He said I'm glad you talk telling me this that means something to me Yeah, and he says from that point. I said we never had any problems because that was it you're dealing with grown men That's what makes football such a great sport, you know in most worlds in most world I tell people most work most people in order to be the best in their world They you know, just to know a computer or design In football in order to be the best you have to go through what a hand-in-hand man to me and come back It's not just about skill. It's also about wheel since it's another man I got looking another man So who wants to pick it his family who wants to feed his wife and kids and say I want it more than you You know what I'm saying? So it's not just about my skill It's also about my will and how to coach that knows how to take it with your mind.

Yeah, make sure your will is right Yes, it is tricky like you want There's certain people that can make you want to give everything right right right right right right I just have to be able to like find that trigger how right and how do they do it? And that's interesting that he was able to do it He was able to do it differently for you than necessarily with for Chuck and the lead of a team to I I find that with the player's I'm a teacher there's a dude dog. I want to be a defensive back. There's a dude with a physical freak of an athlete And I mean he would be killing it in practice and then we get a game and different things happen And so I'm like I gotta figure this out man.

So everybody's yelling. It's going to school. It's going to school and it never really got anything So I said okay, it's what I gotta do. I said I'm gonna have to spend some time.

I'm gonna take some time I get in my car. I go I go over to his house. I go to his house. I say okay.

It's one of you I go this out. I say man what's up dog. I mean neighborhood man. He said yeah, I'm gonna have a drink I went by dude.

He had his little dog Mm-hmm. It's called a pam in his hand. Oh, I got to the doors. Come on here.

Might be break a drink a week I'm gonna eat the drink. Never put down. Okay, right? We got ready.

What we gonna call after? I ain't ever think I'm caught in there. I'm gonna be playing with the ball. I got in the car so I got this joke in that Yeah, I got I got it.

See an order to lead on me. You got a new man. He cares about what makes the man What makes the man now the next time we get in the game and he wasn't doing what everybody I got yelling at him and he's really taking it. He's taking it.

I just walk by my statement. I say it's the best you can get pam Mmm I walked off I got him now all I had to do any time I pick up a man I'm gonna need you man. This is the best you have to give me. You're gonna be in take care of playing you're gonna be legal Oh, oh no man come out.

You gotta know what pools are made. You know what I mean? Like me if you'd say take care of all you had to do was say Great leader if you are a great leader. You got it That's why we're still people don't be so quick you want to get into leadership role because you see it as a position of Dominance and dominion over people a real leaders real leadership.

It's not about dominion over it's about certain to you You got to serve every you got to get the best out of everybody And both and people just don't do it and especially today especially today Post about it. Yeah, you have to be careful even with that leadership. It's about serving to me Who was the best leader you played was I heard you say Troy all the time But it seemed like you were I'm a whenever you go out the team would not win We were three and oh when you had your entry the end of the career and then we finished like eight and eight the cowboys Yeah, yeah, so to me it always felt like you were the heart but everybody else has Troy So why was why was the better we? Director and we needed that we needed someone at this straight there straight there straight there straight and try was straight with that That was good.

We need it now. I'm rallying the troops. Mm-hmm. Let's go.

You know Troy's going to come to me Forget it even Troy I was hurt and I couldn't practice and we went up to DC We lost the game and on the plane back choice it can I talk to you and I came back man? He said oh he said I'm a quad I had to pull a quad that's an ass he said man I know you're not healthy, but can you just come back to practice? I do your practices aren't the same without you Even if you might I know you're not 100% but I just need you out there because practice it You know I mean that's leadership. Yeah, that's leadership You have to know what what you need for that team and for him to come and say it, you know, absolutely I'll be out there make sure because I just kept it going.

You know, I kept it going. Yeah. Yeah, I love it man We don't want to take all your time, man. Yeah, so I've been talking I mean I want to talk We just so a man so grateful you came through man big fans over there We want to tell people about the things you got going on, you know, so so please tell them everything all the information They can how they can consume Michael urban is crazy man.

It's everywhere. Well, you know, almost social media at Michael urban 88, you know So so that gives you that but now also y'all do a podcast And everybody's in this world now, and I like that I like it because it's a long form, you know I mean, it's not just TV, you know, I'm on TV Thursday night football on TV Sunday and I fell game day I'm Monday first take yeah, I get to speak in spurts to people. Yeah, but when you do these you get to speak long form Yeah, and that's always incredible. That's why I do enjoy I enjoy going off the rails and Yeah, this is this absolutely great.

I think you have a lot of flavor to fans going to check out your podcast. That's my Appreciate that man. I appreciate that man. I see y'all build this thing up and join it right over here I I caught him right back in this shit.

I was like, I was making so funny. You said it because I was just kind of stuck by telling my lady at home, right? Y'all know it. Like, yo, wait, my lady said, maybe he changed the garbage out.

You beat me. He's in the front line of the hell hole that you were living in. How would you put these hands upon garbage? The point you think that got us, okay.

That's right. That's just, you know, that's fun with that thing. I got, I got, I got, I said it was mandatory viewing. Yeah.

You watch your Hall of Fame speech. He said, is the greatest Hall of Fame speech he's ever seen. It's the greatest speech I've ever heard an athlete make. You're actually just saying that, man.

26 minutes, no notes. No notes. Oh, no notes. After the podcast, I can see how that's possible.

But these are things you've probably been thinking and planning your entire career, your entire life, maybe, like you're imagining. Yeah, just living. And just living it, you know, as a communicator, now I like you joking, I have fun. But I also study it, you know, I understand the power of communication and I understand how to bring it.

And I'll bring it. We have what you call sensory receptors, millions of sensory receptors in your brain. Yeah. Bring in the galvanized information through your five-sensures, your gate, nose, gate, mouth, touch gate, touch gate, and you're talking to your five-sensures.

You have millions of receptors in your brain. And that same brain, you have billions of receptors in your imagination. So when you're in class and your teacher's speaking, turning to page 35, on page 35, you're talking to the millions of receptors in your brain. So as you bring in information, you're talking to the movie, you'll watch the show that you've seen before.

Maybe wide awake. You know you should be sleeping. I do it all the time. You know she's sick.

Because the movie's coming in story form. Yeah. The movie activates the billionaire receptors which keeps you awake. This is why they play music before the scene.

Donut. Donut. Donut. Now, even since you've seen before, your brain starts thinking of possibilities.

You're jumping before anything even happens because they've activated the billions of receptors in your imagination. In your hall of fame speaks. I don't speak literally. Everything I speak is in story form.

Even when I'm saying to my wife, for better or for worse, on the words they say to you before marriage. Baby, I have worked tirelessly to give you the for better. But I also gave you the for worse. Now, I'm giving you and telling her I'm sorry, but I'm giving it to you in story form.

It brings you into it. And then you'll start living those moments, not just hearing those moments, feeling those moments because I touch the forelones of your brain, the forelones of your brain, your SNL, E and T, L and M and F and E brain. Your SNL is your sensory motor brain. E and T is your tension.

Think your brain, L and M is your learning and memory brain and anything that touches all for you. Well, always remember that fourth one is your feeling and E-moke brain. You think your feelings just come from your heart but this is also in your brain. Anything that touches all four, you should remember it forever.

That's why you play a song. Just the music and you ain't heard it in 10 years. In the words, we'll pop right back just like that. Now, I'm giving you all for free.

What they pay me millions. I still stop right here. Guys, the playmaker, Michael Ervin, make sure you go check out Michael Ervin's podcast. Check him out on ESPN all the goddamn time.

And dude, you're awesome, man. You are a real talent outside of your football talent. I think that that's something people have learned from watching on TV and definitely in a personal relationships. But it is so nice to see someone who has achieved success and then be completely justified in their success after meeting them.

Like certain people you meet and you're like, oh, they got lucky. And then certain people you meet, they're like, if it wasn't football, if it was finance, he was going to be the successful. It wasn't football, it was politics. It was going to be the successful.

That was lucky that you got football. Other shit, the same thing was going to go down. So it was a pleasure meeting you, man. I'm asking you.

They say, don't meet your hero, this was better. This was better. It's better not thought of it. Anything you need, we're here for you, my brother.

So just let us know. And we're moving to Manhattan. We're having a back. We're having a back.

We're having a very heavy break. Just a Sneed New Beat. Absolutely. Michael, everybody.
