Mind Over Matter (Special Episode)

from Heal Sh*t Podcast · host Tiffany Ellis

On 8/13/2022, hundreds of students from over 20 HBCU's across the country had the opportunity to experience the first iteration of a mental health tour I was fortunate enough to create called Mind Over Matter during Amazon's HBCU conference, Beyond the Yard. Now the tour is beginning to make its rounds to college campuses around the country and I could not be more excited. This tour was created to bridge the gap in accessing mental health resources for Black students and to make mental health easy to understand and manage. Three therapists, Shanta Jackson, Jason Phillips and Monroe Howard Shackelford have agreed to work with us and they will be addressing anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome and so much more. These providers were also selected because of their strong social media presence, offering students platforms and people to follow beyond their day to day influencers so they have direct access to life-improving content. If you know of a student who can benefit from attending this event at Florida A&M University next Tuesday, 9/20/22, please email me at [email protected] and I am happy to help them register for this event. Attendees must be currently enrolled students at the university.I love you all so much and thank you for being a part of this community.Tiffany--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/healshitpodcast/messageSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/healshitpodcast/support
