Christmas is right around the corner and Iceland is literally alight in Christmas cheer. There’s a thick, bumpy layer of ice on every non-heated sidewalk in Reykjavik, the Yule Lads have come down from the highlands and running rampant across the land stuffing little treats into children’s shoes. In this episode, Jonas and Lydia take a quiet moment in the midst of all the revelry to exchange Christmas gifts, work on their Swedish and Danish (not really) and talk Icelandic Christmas dinner delights and loaves of a sort. Gleðileg jól y’all!
