Minister to give considered response after Tusla failed Donegal family

from Ocean FM News Reports

The Children's Minister has pledged that will be a more 'considered response' to the case of a Donegal man who was wrongly accused of abusing his son and daughter. The Dail has heard claims this morning that William Porter and his family's lives were destroyed by the failings of Tusla, after false accusations were made about him within the agency. It took three years for Tulsa to investigate the matter and for Mr. Porters name to be cleared. He is said to have developed serious health issues due to the ordeal. Tusla has since apologised to Mr. Porter and his family. The case was raised by Donegal Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty who said that no other family should have to endure what the Porter family have went through. Minister O'Gorman says they have requested an urgent report on the matter with Tusla:
