Mistake or Choice?

Morning Mantra: “Never confuse a mistake with a choice. A mistake wasn’t meant to hurt you, a choice was.”Sometimes people make a mistake, and it hurts you, and sometimes people make a choice KNOWING it will. Intention matters.  Usually when they make a choice to hurt you, they don’t believe they were wrong, and they might even apologize.If an apology includes the word “But” then it’s NOT an apology, it’s an excuse. It’s a defense. The person apologizing is simply justifying their behavior that hurt you.
