Here's the news: - Friday, February 2nd there will be a veteran resource fair and town hall at VFW Post 1197 (645 South River street) in Batavia. From 10 am to 4 pm there will be a business showcase, and from 4:30 to 6 pm officials from the VA will host the town hall portion. This event is open to all veterans and the public. See the flyer for more details! - A very important survey is live for all Aurora residents to provide feedback about affordable housing in Aurora. Our city aims to expand opportunities for housing options and your feedback and opinions are greatly needed! The survey is open until February 23rd and is available in both english and spanish. We encourage you to provide your feedback, this is an important element for the growth of our city and all Aurora households. The link to the survey is here: https://www.aurora-il.org/AffordableHousingStudy - Come celebrate a Legacy Of Excellence at the Fox Valley Mall on Saturday, February 10th from noon to 4 pm. This will be an awesome celebration of culture, history and achievement. There will be music, a fashion show and even spoken word poetry! This event is free and open to the public.
