So without further delay, here's the news of the day ladies and gentlemen: - The Office of Representative Barbara Hernandez will be hosting the monthly Social Justice Committee meeting this evening via zoom from 5 to 6 pm. Representative Hernandez will be joined by State Senator Robert Peters who will be discussing his work toward criminal justice reform. If you would like to attend please register at this link: bit.ly/novembersjm - Our friends of Ballydoyle - Aurora here downtown have a great lineup of live acoustic dinner music Wednesdays thru Sundays. John Klatt will be the featured artist Wednesday thru Saturday. Guitarist John Klatt rounds up 100 years of popular music for an eclectic show that includes music from every decade since the 1920s. Saturday the 4th will be Grateful Duo, followed by Dan Halfeldt on Sunday the 5th. Ballydoyle also has a great new years eve party coming up as well with This End Up! Party favors, decorations, champagne toast, and late-nite breakfast buffet all included with your ticket! Seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors to the show room open at 7PM but come early for cocktails and appetizers at the Ballydoyle Pub which is open all day! Tickets are $25.
