We will discuss the gun buy back event over the weekend hosted by Kane County Sheriff's Office and why such events are important. Here's the news: - Saturday September 10th is the Kid’s Expo, taking place at Phillips Park! This is hosted by Illinois House District 84 and will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. This is a free and fun event open to the public and will be held rain or shine. For more information call 630-585-1308. Bring the family out for a good time, we hope to see you there! - October 16th Marie Wilkinson’s is hosting their Fill The Bowls event at Gaslite Manor. This will be from 1 to 4 pm and will be a lot of fun! Raffles, a wine pull, live music and great company. For more information or to purchase tickets visit Marie Wilkinson’s website here: https://mariewilkinsonfoodpantry.org/ - Join the Neighbor Project & Bank of America at the Aurora Financial Empowerment Center from 10 am to noon for a fantastic learning workshop.
