Months before Sligo homeowners can access Pyrite scheme

It's estimated that it could be up to six months before people in County Sligo will be able to access the Defective Block Redress Scheme. Yesterday, Sligo was finally added to the scheme, following years of waiting, paving the way for hundreds of homeowners to repair or rebuild their homes. But Independent Sligo Leitrim TD Marc MacSharry says Sligo County Council must first establish a dedicated team to deal and process the applications and that won't happen overnight:
