Summary

I am a life coach and help individuals work through transitions. Transition as in a missionary off the field, transition into a new job, new city, graduating college, ending your sports career and finding other passions. Or if you are stuck in a rut and need help creating more meaning to your life.   What is a life coach? Someone who helps bridge the gap from where you are to where you want to be. If you don’t know where you want to be, a coach helps you figure that out as well. We create goals, systems, and make new habits to be able to achieve what you want to in the next season of life. We go through many transitions in our life. Are you equipped to go through these transitions in a healthy way?  Are you taking time to reflect? Are you giving yourself the time you need to sit in an emotion and process? Are you enjoying the season you are in? Don’t rush to the next one. I have come up with 5 questions to ask yourself to be able to move forward in any transition. What have I learned in the season I am leaving behind? What mistakes have I made and how can I learn from them? What emotions am I feeling as I leave the past? What am I looking forward to in the next season? What emotions am I feeling moving into this new season? Episode Description

  1. What have I learned in the season I am leaving behind?
  2. What mistakes have I made and how can I learn from them?
  3. What emotions am I feeling as I leave the past?
  4. What am I looking forward to in the next season?
  5. What emotions am I feeling moving into this new season?

Two books I recommend are:

  1. Atomic Habits by James Clear
  2. Transitions: Making Sense of Life's Changes by William Bridges
