National Advocacy Service strike in Sligo and nationwide

The National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities continue to strike in Sligo and nationwide today for fair pay.Without a pay increase in 14 years, they’ve returned to strike action following the failure of their employers to follow up on a labour court recommendation.Speaking to OceanFM news at the picket line, two staff members, Ann Feehily and Martina Kilgallon, highlighted their current situation:
