Dean Beaudry, a 30 year engineer working for Syncrude as a risk assessment and mitigation manager, describes the failure of Canada’s healthcare leadership to follow essential risk management practices during the COVID crisis, as well as lack of accountability and competence of such leadership. Mr. Beaudry said, “when you’re making a decision, it has to be based on facts or well-corroborated opinions, and minimize the assumptions.
