Nerd Steals $15K in Pokémon Cards

Don’t let anyone tell you nerds can’t be criminals too! Sometimes, they make even better ones than most of the idiots you see out there, but this guy isn’t one of them.A 34-year-old Florida man, Francisco Alvarez, was enough of a regular at Gorka’s Poke Barn to be on a first-name basis with the owner and other customers, but was plotting the whole time. He was caught red-handed breaking into the shop and trying to steal three bags full of $15,000 worth of Pokémon cards and merchandise.According to WFLA, he was arrested and charged with “felony burglary, giving a false ID to officers, grand theft, tampering with utilities and possession of burglary tools.” Hosted on Acast.
