Neurodiversity and Family Dynamics - Special Guest Julia Gudinchet

Today, I will be speaking to Julia Gudinchet, who is the founder of Sunflower Autism consultancy. Just 4 years ago, Julia was diagnosed with ADHD, and more recently, her daughter, aged 7 years old, was also diagnosed with ADHD. Both Julia's husband and their 5-year-old son are neurotypical, so today, we are going to talk about the challenges that families face when trying to navigate the landscape of parenting and marital relationships when our brains operate in varying ways. We explore how Julia is able to raise both of her children differently as a result of their different needs and communication styles, together with how she and her husband support each other and ensure that communication is their key to a solid and happy marriage and family.
