On this Sunday’s somber edition of News You Can Use on WTIC NewsTalk 1080 at 5:30a and 9:00a, our hearts go out to the entire Bristol community and anybody who has been affected by this unsensible tragedy. Today, host Ann Baldwin and co-host Lisa Nkonoki speak with Brian Foley, former Hartford Deputy Police Chief and state Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection spokesperson.On the night of Wednesday, October 12, 2022 around 10:30pm, two Bristol police officers lost their lives and a third injured in what seemed to be a normal domestic dispute call. Unfortunately, this was everything but a normal call and because of it, we have lost two great officers, friends and family members. Our prayers go out to the families and loved ones of Sgt. Dustin Demonte and Officer Alex Hamzy; as well as to a full recovery for Officer Alec Iurato.
