Ann & Patrice start off the show by talking about all of the issues, and therefore attention, that school boards have been receiving over the past year or so. They speak about how important these board meetings are and how parental involvement is crucial. Patrice also recaps the recent CABE/CAPSS annual conference, which had special guest United States Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona, speak via Zoom. The final topic covered in the show is that of the free lunches that have been available to students across the country through the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Patrice comments on all of the benefits of this program as well as its importance.
