No Age Ontology - Intellectual and experiential view of Reality

Eckhart Tolle One very important distinction to be made is between an intellectual view of reality and an experiential view based on direct experience of Wisdom Knowledge. A conceptual, intellectual or mind elaborated view of reality, even the most refined one, will always fall short of liberating one’s Awareness from the bondage of time, space and afflictive emotions. This kind of philosophical enquiry is only useful at the beginning in order to have ‘guiding map’ along the path, or in order to discriminate between the correct path and the mistaken paths which lead to even more limitation and suffering.
