North West roads receive significant funding for repairs

Roads across counties Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal will each benefit from large scale funding.The funding is part of a significant investment package of €658m nationwide announced by Transport Minister Eamon Ryan and Minister of State Jack Chambers.Repairs include bridge rehabilitation, drainage works and road safety measures.Donegal has been allocated €36.22 million, Sligo has received €16.18 million while €13.18 million is going to Leitrim.Speaking to Ocean FM News, Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan has welcomed the funding, saying it will provide safer streets and stronger communities.
