Moses held God’s written words in his hands. He met with God for forty days and forty nights. He saw the devouring fire of the glory of the Lord. We too hold God’s word in our hands as we study and read our Bible each day. This passage reminds me of the power of God’s Holy Word. Do I always recognize the power of His Word? Do I cry out to God to show me His power? Do I show gratitude for all His word teaches me? I can answer that I struggle with this in my walk. Where do you find your answer to these questions? Is there someone in your life that also struggles as I do? Pray for them today. Pray for yourself if need be. God loves us and will grow us if we simply seek Him.
