Paul will explain to us about putting the sinful self aside because it died on the cross with Jesus and how to live by the Spirit that God gave us. Doing so will cause us to bear fruit by the Holy Spirit- peace, patience, joy, love, kindness, keeping promises, and self control. We will also read that having Jesus' forgiveness for our sins is not a license to sin freely! In our discussion for daily application we will talk about loving one another because we are all connected by God's Holy Spirit! Let us not become discouraged despite the coldness of the world around us. Jesus told us that people will know we are His followers if we love one another and Paul reminds us of that today.
