Paul addressed the inappropriateness of bragging about spiritual gifts and explained why believers need to take disputes to other believers for resolution rather than to the courthouse where their dispute will be judged by a non believer. Paul explained that when we do this, nobody wins. Paul spent a lot of time discussing sinning with the body and how this should be especially avoided because our bodies are the temple for God's Spirit; God's Spirit lives in each of us! God paid for our bodies with Jesus' blood, so our bodies do not belong to just us anymore!
