To prove it, I took a detour across the bleak, sulfur-scented expanse of Wyoming to test the limits of my own patience. Enter Michael: a handsomely doofy, blue-collar trucker with a Carhartt cap, a grease-stippled jawline, and a physique practically built for stretching comfort zones.What was supposed to be a brief, non-committal pit stop at his low-slung, deteriorating craftsman house in Laramie rapidly devolves into a masterclass in psychological tension. Over local ciders and a level of raw, unpolished honesty that aggressively defies modern "trauma dumping" labels, the unspoken gravity between us begins to heavily tilt.
